In collaboration with three of our experts Christina Santini (nutrition, biological medicine, and medical thermography), Lisbeth Hecksher (reflexologist) and Kristine Bernhoft (nutrition and yoga), we have developed this guide on fertility and healthy pregnancy.
Over the past 5 years, in collaboration with our experts, we have been very focused on this area, since unfortunately there are more and more people - including many young people - experiencing fertility challenges. We will describe the many positive experiences we have made over the years.
What is VITAMAMA?
VITAMAMA is a special combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and omega 3 oils tailored to future mothers.
VITAMAMA is recommended 3 months before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after birth throughout the breastfeeding period. VITAMAMA is a convenience pack of 30 individual bags - each with a daily dose so they are easy to bring with you on the go. Each daily dosage consists of:
4 x VITAMAX multivitamin
1 x Probiotic 30 billion
1 x Flaxseed Oil (organic flaxseed with omega 3)
1 x Calcium/ Magnesium
As soon as the first thoughts about pregnancy are born, it is extremely important to think about giving the body the right building blocks. This is very important in relation to preventing possible malformations in the child and also in order to increase fertility. Both men and women benefit from balancing the right diet, lifestyle and supplements to increase fertility. VITAMAMA contributes its unique combination of vitamins, minerals, and good fats to create a good foundation for the body.
The right combination?
The National Board of Health recommends pregnant women take a daily supplement of Folic Acid (vitamin B9), Vitamin D, Omega 3, Iron and Calcium. They contribute with the following:
Folic acid (b9) Intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones for the pregnant woman as well as the unborn child.
Vitamin D contributes to normal blood calcium levels for the pregnant woman as well as the unborn child.
VITAMAMA contains all these key nutrients and more, including omega 3, to ensure the best for your body during pregnancy as well as support the development of your unborn baby.
However, VITAMAMA does not contain iron that must be taken separately during pregnancy. Organic (fluid) iron is recommended.
