Mads Tærsbøl is a Professional Elite Runner, and has participated in Nordic and European championships. 

 

Tell us a little about yourself

My name is Mads Tærsbøl. I am 25 years old and I live in Copenhagen. Since 2010, I have been on the Danish national team on various distances, on the track as well as in cross country. My big goal is to compete in the Olympic games in 2020 (Tokyo) and 2024 (Paris). Besides running, I am reading my Masters in Exercise and Sports Science. 

What is your everyday routine?

After I wake up after 9-10 hours of good sleep, I prepare for my first run of the day: 8-12 km easy running to loosen up the legs, and get a good start of the day. To watch the sunrise and the city slowly wakes is truly energizing. Afterwards, I get a good breakfast including some of my VITAVIVA-supplements – I feel they make me even more ready for the day ahead. Then, I either study from home or at the university and after studying I will get back home and go out for my second workout (longer run with intervals, hills or continuous tempo) with my team-mates or alone. In the evening, I will take my second dose of VITAVIVA with my dinner and thereafter try to relax before bedtime.

What is your approach to a healthy lifestyle?

I believe in a natural approach to everything. When it comes to food, I favour organic fruit and vegetables over-processed food, and I believe that you need to eat a mixed diet including a healthy combination of fats, proteins, carbohydrates and LOTS of clean water. I also believe that you need to exercise at least 1 hour each day with a combination of cardio, strength and flexibility.
Mentally, I believe you need to be happy and to have a positive attitude towards everything – obstacles doesn’t exist only challenges do.

Why did you start taking VITAVIVA? How do they affect your everyday life?

 A friend of mine recommended me to try them out, and I have not regretted it ever since. The products are just levels above everything else on the market. VITAVIVA believes in clean, high-quality products with the most potent ingredients, and I truly feel that in the supplements I take.
